CountThings from Photos integration options

The CountThings from Photos app can be integrated with different systems and services depending on your counting process:

  1. Basic Web Services Integration (Windows, iOS, Android)
    With this feature, you can send your results to other systems locally or anywhere in the world through a web service address.
    This feature cannot import data from other systems.

  2. Advanced Web Service Integration (iOS, Android)
    Advanced Web Service Integration feature (on iOS app is called Custom API Calls) uses calls to import data to CountThings from Photos app (in forms) and send data to any systems.
    It can be used in use cases that require bidirectional function (import and send data), cases that requires only to import data or only to send results.

  3. InterApp Communication (Android)
    You can enable a third-party app to call/start an action on CountThings for Photos app.

  4. Cloud services (iOS, Android)
    With CountThings from Photos mobile app you can save your results in the cloud using cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.

  5. Direct Database integration (Windows)
    This feature is available only for CountThings from Photos app and CountThings from Video app on Windows devices.
    This option can be used in cases that require bidirectional function (import and send data), cases that requires only to import data or only to send results.

  6. OPC integration (Windows)
    This feature is available for CountThings from Photos app and CountThings from Video app on Windows devices.
    With this option you can write and read data to and from an OPC system.
    The OPC integration feature can help you to create different automatic events such as capturing photo, counting and saving.

  7. CountThings Backend (API+Engine+CountingTemplate)
    This option allows you to make your own user interface.
